I don't do a lot of commissions, but I make some exceptions for pet and house portraits. I have specific parameters that i work within though, so make sure you read all of the below information to make sure it's a good fit!
Portraits are done in pen and ink based on a photo provided by the client. The better the photo the better the portrait!
After purchase, send me a handful of photos of the animal and i will pick the one that will work best for my style of work.
I will send ONE photo of the draft sketch during the process for you to approve. After that I will place the ink and you will receive the finished portrait!

Original pet portrait illustration in delicately detailed pen and ink. Choose from the options of just your pet or your pet framed with flowers and branches.
These illustrations are lovingly drawn by hand with the intention of infusing your pet's individual personality and spirit into the piece.
PROCESS: After purchase, I will reach out to ask for several of your favorite photos of your animal. If you have one you prefer let me know, but not all photos work well for illustration and I will pick the one that works best.
Final illustration will measure 4x6 or 5x7 inches (depending on the photo that I decide works best) and will come matted in a 8x10 white mat.
Quality acid free paper and archival water resistant ink.
Please note that custom portrait illustrations take time to complete. Expect 4-6 weeks for delivery; so if it's a gift, please plan accordingly!
