30 in 30 - Day 16

This is a large 12x16 drawing of what inspires me about the ecosystem of, and surrounding, the Salish Sea (of which the Puget Sound is part). I finished it over the summer as part of a book project (see below), but has not been released before now. 

I am sharing this one today because yesterday was the Salish Sea Art Show at Seattle Artist League and it was a really nice time. I was one of 25 artists that had works celebrating and supporting this amazing ecosystem. It was so great to see all the wonderful work and to see what parts of the Salish Sea inspire other people.
